Dr Glen Kolenc
Glen graduated from Sydney University in 1997, and started in mixed practice before spending several years as a locum in the UK. After returning to Sydney, he worked in different clinics before taking over the reins at PetVets, as its current owner and Principal Veterinarian. Glen has a passion for surgery, and expertise in all aspects of care of Brachycephalic breeds, hence becoming now widely known as “Dr Frenchie”. Glen is a science geek, loves fermenting vegetables and seeing live bands.

Dr Annabel Briscoe
Well known among our clients for her compassionate approach to all animals, her reputation as a genuinely caring and approachable veterinarian makes her extremely sought after. Annabel has a vast amount of experience and interest in Palliative Care, having been inspired by her mother who has had a very successful career in human community Palliative Care nursing.
Dr Annabel loves allowing her geriatric patients to live well with chronic illnesses and supporting owners to adjust to these lifelong conditions. She finds giving animals a pain free and peaceful ending a privilege. Dr Annabel has completed her Fear Free certification. Dr Annabel has very spoilt tortoiseshell cat, named Biscuit.
Dr Megan Clisby
Dr Megan has a keen interest in all aspects of dental care, and has completed further study in small animal dentistry and oral surgery. She regularly performs advanced dental surgery procedures, offering your pet the highest level of care and expertise.
Dr Megan also has an interest in dog behaviour and offers extended consults to get a detailed history and assessment of all behaviour related issues. She offers follow up phone consultation appointments for those clients and patients who are unable to come into the clinic. Dr Megan has completed a Fear free certification – perfect for those anxious patients. Dr Megan has a cat named Seek, who is also a blood donor for acutely unwell patients.
Dr Michelle Dore
Dr Michelle has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of small animal care. She is known for her thorough and extensive consultations and assessments. She goes above and beyond to provide clients with the latest information relating to their pet’s condition, so her clients can make well informed choices.
Dr Michelle has a menagerie of animals at home and loves crafts, travelling, gaming and collecting antique sewing machines.
Kylie – Clinic Co Ordinator
Kylie has an extensive background in health and made the transition to animal care 5 years ago. Kylie enjoys managing an awesome team, and loves that each team member brings their own unique experience and perspective. Kylie thrives on the chaos and randomness that each day in the clinic brings… most of all she loves forming a strong rapport and trusting relationship with clients and their pets. Kylie has a French Bulldog named Buster. She hopes one day to adopt a cat for Buster to love as well.
Andrew – Reception
Andrew is our receptionist and is well known among our clients for his reassuring phone manner and helpful attitude. Andrew began his career in animal care 2 years ago and already has his favourite dogs in the neighbourhood who regularly call in for a treat and a pat from Andrew.
Sam – Head Nurse
Sam holds a certificate 4 qualification in Veterinary nursing and has been the head nurse at PetVets since 2025. She has an extensive knowledge of dentistry and most days assists Dr Megan with dental surgery. On her days off, Sam enjoys reading and baking and has two cats: Freya and Harmonia that she spoils.
Laura – Veterinary Nurse
Laura has worked at Petvets since 2021 and is one of the most hard working and skilled nurses here. She enjoys assisting with surgery and monitoring anaesthesia. Laura is proficient in Spanish and likes teaching the rest of the team and conversing with our Spanish speaking clients. Laura loves spoiling the cats in the cattery and has two cats of her own: Monkey and Callie that she rescued and adopted from work.
Mariana – Veterinary Nurse
Mariana loves working with a small team and was drawn to PetVets because of the warm and fun vibe. Mariana enjoys assisting with surgery and smooching with our boarders in the cattery.
When she is not working, Mariana loves staying fit and healthy and likes to compete in marathons events in Sydney and beyond. Mariana is proficient in Portugese and REALLY loves chocolate.

Shannon – Veterinary Nurse
Shannon holds a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing and has been working at Petvets for over 4 years.
Shannon loves working breeds, big and naughty dogs. He spends most of his time with his 1 year old daughter and Kelpie X.
